Like all little girls, in the beginning I tried to keep a diary, though I was easily distracted and thus never wrote in it. During my college years there was a short period where I actually managed to maintain a LiveJournal account. Nothing worth remembering there. Therapists have suggested I write a journal, for different reasons writing professors as well. Off and on I have followed their advice. Even now I have a written journal that I rarely remember to write in.
So why this? I can't answer that. Maybe an anonymous audience is what I need to help me put words down, be creative and sarcastic. A written journal holds secrets, a blog does not. Whatever you type is left naked for anyone to stumble across and read. Perhaps there's a little bit of an exhibitionist thrill to it as well. My words are naked for strangers to see.
There's no guarantee on the frequency of posts; I've already said I rarely remember to write in my journal. But I will make every effort to create something interesting every time I do post. ttfn
